About the facilitator

Lutz Otto is a performance-enabler and works with businesses to accelerate performance and build the necessary platforms for sustained growth through consulting, developing team capacity. His high-impact team interventions are focussed on enabling trust and performance in teams. He has three decades of sales, marketing, business development, team development and executive team membership experience. Lutz has also gained broad exposure across Southern Africa, Europe, Australia and Asia in various different work environments, socio-economic landscapes and cultures, having held corporate roles at SkyLab, Sony, Line One/ Tiscali, National Brands, Glacier Bearings and Reunert. He is a business school graduate and is devoted to excelling in leadership, growing capability in people, teams and businesses, and understanding performance motivation.

Lutz is also a passionate conservationist and in 2015 he was awarded the “Order of the Bateleur” for his volunteer work. He considers that operating in this space has further cemented his understanding of performance motivation.
